Coastal Front’s 2025 year in review
2025 proved to be a very successful year for Coastal Front. With major events such as the fracturing of the BC Conservative party, the US-Canada trade war, and the 2025 federal election, the news provided a regular stream of content for Coastal Front to comment on. Let’s look at the articles, videos, and podcasts released in 2025.
Articles
Coastal Front’s most noteworthy articles of 2025 were “Millions in grave recovery funds spent on publicists and consultants, no remains found,” “Festival shutdown in Vancouver tied to questions of government funding,” and “BCGEU strike could cost liquor stores $250M, businesses warn.”
Videos
Starting in 2025, Coastal Front began releasing video reports, expanding the reach of our articles beyond the print form. Some of our most prominent reports included one on short-term rentals, Bill 15, and Canadian involvement in the Congo.
Podcasts
In 2025, Coastal Front released seven podcasts. These episodes featured Vancouver Mayor Ken Sim, BC MLA Harman Bhangu, Realtor Steve Saretsky, General and Artistic Director of Goh Ballet Chan Hon Goh, Kindred Construction President Bryan Reid, Port Coquitlam Mayor Brad West, and SalesCloser AI’s Ali Tajskandar.
Shorts
Coastal Front also began expanding the reach of our podcasts through the creation of shorts. Some of the notable ones include Earls CEO Stan Fuller talking about the first Earls location, Dr. Brian Day discussing medical waitlists in BC, and Lululemon founder Chip Wilson contrasting Vancouver’s business policies now vs. 20 years ago.
